After learning about poetry, similes, and metaphors this week, students in Mr. Holmes’ classes created their own Simile Self-Portraits. Some creative examples were, “My hair is as golden as the sun,” “My tongue is as pink as bubble gum,” and “My hair is like spaghetti.”
