While in town on other matters, former FCC Chairman, PHS alumnus and former debate/forensic champ Ajit Pai paid a visit to current PHS debate/forensic students. He visited one-on-one with some students and offered words of encouragement to the team as a whole.

Madison Shepard carded a 63, 67, 130 today at Stone Creek Golf Course in the Chanute High Tournament Girls Varsity tournament, good for 40th place. Go Vikes!

PHS Events for the week of 9/18/23 - 9/23/2023.
This week Sophomore Autumn Sands traveled to California to compete in the 2023 North American Open Series 2! Last night it came down to one lift! Autumn dug deep and came out on her last attempt and nailed it! That lift won her the meet and qualified her for Worlds! Her 90 kg clean and jerk and her 67 kg/147 lb snatch were both meet PR's!
Way to go Autumn, you are proof that hard work really does pay off! Keep it up, we are all so proud of you!
