We learned about dream catchers and the history of them, so of course we needed to create our own dream catchers and put one dream or goal they had on it to help it come true.










Brooklynn is my SUNSHINE STUDENT this week!! She comes to school every day, works hard, and kind to everyone!!


For the last two Fridays the kids have learned about the constitution, the jobs in the court rooms and all 3 of our government branches. Tuesday they got to watch a mock court case on zoom and be the jury. They did great!!!






Mrs. Strode's class is working great together on their partner reading to help each other build their reading skills.






Math time was filled with some creative fun as we made monsters using paper pieces that represent base 10 blocks. This goes hand in hand with our chapters on place value and the students had so much fun showing what they know.

As part of Constitution Day 2024, Garfield third graders joined with around 13,000 other third grade students from Kansas to learn about one of our Constitutional rights during a live online discussion with professionals in our state court system.







We took a small brain break and celebrated National Play-Doh between subjects. It was so much fun!! So many creative creations!






For the past two weeks, we have been learning about different cultures and families around the world. Mr. Medina shared a little bit of his culture by making pico de gallo for the students to try.
