4th and 5th grade students at Guthridge are learning how to draw a firefighter helmet to help support our local SEK firefighters! Our students artwork will be hanging in the stairwell at Belmont Towers on September 11 to motivate our firefighters as they participate in the Stair Climb for the 20th anniversary!

The students in Mr. Willis’s class spent some time this afternoon repotting one of their class plants to a bigger and better pot. They also learned many important facts about keeping their plant healthy and what it needs to grow!
Tomorrow is Late Start Wednesday for all USD 503 schools. This year every Wednesday will be a late start day, this will allow for more professional development and collaboration time for teachers across our district.
