Mariah Robertson was one of 34 Guthridge students with Perfect Attendance in the 1st 9 Weeks but her Principal somehow missed her at today's Awards Ceremony. Thank Mariah and Shauntania for being so understanding.

Students in Mrs. Brimm's class learned about Sundials and how they were used to tell time. They created their own and then tested them out.









Here are our Thursday poster winners from our Book Fair. These students are from Mrs. Armstrong, Mrs. Shields, Mrs. Fisher, Mrs. Good, and Mrs. Brimm's class.

Students in Mr. Holmes' class worked with partners to sequence and summarize key events from the story, My Diary from Here to There.










We had a successful Scholastic Book Fair this past week at Guthridge. Big Thank you to all of our parents and students for supporting our school and helping to add books to our library and our classrooms. Here are some students who purchased a book to donate to some of our teachers.

Mrs. Shields' class enjoyed the Halloween-themed activities last week! Especially the directed drawing of Spookley the Square Pumpkin after listening to the story and completing a comprehension packet. 🧡










Congratulations to the TOP TEN students at each grade level for our October Leaderboard competition!


Today we reviewed our math and reading skills with mystery boxes. The students had to find their question in the boxes filled with "guts," maggots," "intestines," "eyeballs," and so much more.
