Students in Mr. Holmes' class worked with partners to sequence and summarize key events from the story, My Diary from Here to There.

We had a successful Scholastic Book Fair this past week at Guthridge. Big Thank you to all of our parents and students for supporting our school and helping to add books to our library and our classrooms. Here are some students who purchased a book to donate to some of our teachers.

We want to send a big thank you to Mrs. Holsinger for coming to our class today to play Halloween games!

Mrs. Shields' class enjoyed the Halloween-themed activities last week! Especially the directed drawing of Spookley the Square Pumpkin after listening to the story and completing a comprehension packet. 🧡

Congratulations to the TOP TEN students at each grade level for our October Leaderboard competition!

Today we reviewed our math and reading skills with mystery boxes. The students had to find their question in the boxes filled with "guts," maggots," "intestines," "eyeballs," and so much more.

Happy Halloween from 4th grade!

Students in Mrs. Brimm's class had a little Halloween fun. They worked in groups to design a monster, and then they wrote a story about their monster. They loved sharing their creative stories with the class.
