
Twenty students braved taking the stage to participate in the Guthridge Spelling Bee Thursday. The winner moves on to the Labette County Spelling Bee Sept. 27.











Twenty students braved taking the stage to participate in the Guthridge Spelling Bee. In the end, Emily Gage was the winner. She will represent the school at the Labette County Spelling Bee Sept. 27.





There will be No School on Monday, September 18, 2023.

In honor of 9/11, students in Miss Jones' class took a virtual tour of the 9/11 memorial and museum. Once they had completed their virtual tour, they wrote a thank you letter to our local first responders.

Students in Mrs. Brimm's class finished out their matter unit by making Oobleck. Students enjoyed seeing the properties of a solid and a liquid out of their creation!

These girls have been checking on the progress of this butterfly everyday and today it finally emerged.





After learning about the difference between abstract and realistic art in Mrs. Shields' art class, 5th grade began drawing their own abstract or realistic artwork of their choosing, drawing animals using inspiration from the artists Franz Marc & Henri Rousseau.






Mr. Holmes wrote Avery a positive office referral for mastering her sentence vs. fragment IXL topics ALL the way from 4th to 12th grade!!! Way to go, Avery!
