Today, Mr. Holmes' classes read chapter 9 of Harry Potter. Each student got their own "Remembrall." (In the book, these are glass spheres that fill with red smoke when you've forgotten something.) We had red gumballs, instead!

Today in Mr. Holmes' classes, we read chapter 8 of Harry Potter. We drank bubbling potion (sherbet with Sprite) while we read, and later we experimented by making our own "exploding troll potion" using yeast, hydrogen peroxide, and dish soap!
Ms. Hicks and Mr. Willis's classes met their penpals in the park this morning! The kids were so excited to finally meet!

Today in Mr. Holmes' classes, we read chapter 7 of Harry Potter. We had Bugles (they look just like wizard hats!) for our snack, and each student was sorted into their Hogwarts' house by the sorting hat!
