What a Colorful World 4th and 5th grade concert, Guthridge Elementary, March 19th 2024 at 7 P.M.
Students are expected to be at the Municipal Auditorium at 6:45. They will remain with their adults until 6:55 to go to their seats or the stage. They have been spoken to about clothes, new clothes are fine, but not required or expected, think nicer side of school clothes, a tee shirt and nice jeans. For shoes, absolutely no sandals, flip flops, slides, slippers, high heels, or wedges. These can be dangerous of the risers.
Mrs.Bedore was very excited to present Kaden with his Extra Effort Award for all the hard work he's been doing in math. Way to go Kaden!

Fun times making colorful bubble art with Mrs. Shields! Bubble blowing (not sipping) the non-toxic paint was a great way to see colors mix to create new colors, and we loved the process and the outcome!🫧🎨 Leftover bubble paint was used outside with bubble wands! ☀️

In art the past month with Mrs. Shields, 4th & 5th grade studied primary colors, pop art and onomatopoeias. After learning about pop artist Roy Lichtenstein and his comic strip inspired artwork that incorporated onomatopoeias, students created their own Pop Art Onomatopoeia! 💥
